MY APPROACH

  • Organizational Health Consulting—the time-tested standard analysis as well as a negotiated reset for multi-faceted circumstances involving elusive dysfunction and old conflicts. In every case an analysis requires interviews, surveys, and an examination of documents related to history, structure, and governance. The arena of focus can either be leadership, board, or the larger organization or congregation.

  • Lessons-Learned Knowledge Management—custom lessons-learned knowledge management systems that ensures crucial developments are accurately recorded, archived, and available for the purpose of advancing organizational resilience.

  • Investigator/Ombuds—a role that corresponds to an ombuds service used by global charities to provide impartial reporting on potentially serious matters. Both organizational ombuds for charities and investigators for congregations have increasingly become popular in the U.S. in recent decades for improving accountability and open reporting when a serious allegation is made.
